Just booked Freedom of the Seas for April 2011

As you know that we had been cruising with Disney Cruise as it is my favourite ship... We have one more to sailing with them next year 2010...

My husband and I had been discussing that we fancy switch over something different for my special birthday also something for the kids as they will be 14 and 11...

We will be sailing with RCCI Freedom of the Seas at Port Caranvel and we will go to Eastern Caribbean for 7 days...

But my heart always for Disney cruise...

I hope I don't regard it ... as I want to go on new Disney Cruise and which will be in 2011 but we felt that it will be too expensive... We know about Wonder Cruise will be sailing to Panama Canal 2011 but we think we had been there so...

We give a try to RCCI ... Kids don't know about it yet...

I know it won't be same as Disney Cruise

Deborah, that is great news.

I know what you mean though about regretting booking with RCCL, just incase you are not going to like it as much as Disney. I am sure you will have great fun though.

Happy Planning.

I am sure you will have a fabulous time - Mickey and co may not be on board but there are loads of things to do...

Have a look at my trippie from Freedom - link in the sig - Lots and lots of pics and a few tips also.

What kind of cabin did you book BTW?

Hi Carolynn

I see your photos are so beautiful...

We were looking at Freedoms or Oasis, we pick Freedoms as I always want to go on that ship...

We booked the Deluxe Ocean view Strm w/Bal, E1, 6th floor .

Fantastic, make sure you enjoy all the sunrises and sunsets on the balcony.

One thing I would say is that you have booked so early you 'should' get the choice of cabins - it would be worth seeing if there were any E2's available on the hump (deck 8, 7, 6). It is such a great location and I wouldn't have thought the change from an E1 to an E2 would be that much, if anything.

BTW, don't be worried about changing cabins after you have booked either. It doesn't cost anything, even if you go through your TA or through RCI direct. We have changed our cabin on Mariner twice already this week as better ones open up.

You wont go wrong with RCCL! Also, keep an eye on the price as RCCL honour any price drop, whether booked via TA or direct

We preferred RCCL to Disney, the Boys did even more so. They wont consider Disney until they are old enough to go in the adult pool area. We were on the Mariner.
