Thanks for the info.
I see what you mean about hiring the car and not using it when on the cruise but when I priced up a hire for two days then picking another one up after the cruise their wasn't a lot of difference between this and having the car for the duration of the holiday.

Although, depending on your car hire deal, you will sometimes get another free tank of fuel on collection of your second car after the cruise which is also worth considering in your calculations !

Thats what we got this August. renting a large Ford Expedition or similar, price was same for all inclusive or gold so free tank of gas, probably worth $40-50.
