We're the friendship boats definitely not stopping at the Swan/Dolphin?
They have stopped there for as long as o can remember.
Sometimes if there are concerns about the weather they are off but I'd be surprised if they were permanently stopped.

We were at the bus stops there twice (late October, early November) and they definitely weren't running (the weather was perfect). I didn't ask about it - because we weren't staying in the hotel, but I was surprised, too...hopefully it was just a dock refurbishment or something like that - because it's a long walk for littlies...

Did you get through that massive run-on sentence?

Thanks for your feedback.

I was more than a little bit embarrassed to post all that booty!

It was a fun couple of hours at the Disney Outlet - the only things we ended up buying at WDW...were pins.

Our broadband is very bad today - I am trying to respond to your comments; the evil orange light keeps coming on and stopping me...but I'm here, and I appreciate you reading!

I am not much of a "shopper", but I SWEAR they put something in the water at Disney!

Thanks for coming with us to the outlets -

<hands April a new microfilter for the internet>

"Who buys this stuff ?"

In my personal experience Japanese guests.
Many years ago I was CM at the Disney store at Heathrow and the Japanese guests would buy everything in sight , anything with a mouse or a logo or London on it. My favourite was the chap who buttonholed a fellow CM and kept pushing money at him to buy his cast cardi (a rather unflattering blue number made of best acrylic).
The flights to Tokyo had given up on hand baggage limits as it seemed every passenger had two or three giant carrier bags crammed with duty free booty.

I can remember when the Mall of America first opened - they were doing charter flights to Saint Paul/Minneapolis from Tokyo. Those Japanese visitors were PROPER shoppers.

That was my nearest mall, so I would sometimes pop over for socks, etc...and it was rather remarkable to see dozens of people being led about by a tour guide with a flag...

It was great though - and it's great here! - PLEASE come and spend all your money. Maybe that will help keep my taxes down! Oh, wait...

And LOL...as a Londoner (by marriage, obviously) I find it quite easy to turn up my nose at all the Big Ben/Harrod's/Disney Store London tat. BUT...you would have had to pull those sparkly ears out of my cold, dead hands. Sigh.

Do you still have that classy acrylic cardigan? Maybe you can flog it on ebay and make a mint...

What a great shopping haul. It feels great to get a Disney bargain = 2 things that I love.

I think I've read that they've stopped the free outlet bus now.

Great report.

So glad to hear you're enjoying the report - but to stopping the outlet bus! I'm not surprised, though - if the typical passenger count was anything like it was the day we went...

The cost of souvenirs AT the Disney parks is just bonkers. I was VERY pleased we took the time to go over to the outlet!

Day 21 should be up later this morning...thanks for stopping by -
