Gold star for you for taking the time to comment on a day when we didn't do anything interesting!
Those bungalows do rather get my goat... I don't care about things like the dessert party - if people want to pay for that, fine - it doesn't affect MY experience at all. But the bungalows...if you've already paid big bucks to stay at the Poly, should you really have to look at the fireworks through/over the bungalows? Should only the bungalow people get an unobstructed view? It just feels...unjust, somehow. |

Really enjoying this trip report. I already know I'm going to be up late to finish it lol.

I also love plastic cheese. I think you need to have grown up in the States to truly appreciate its finer qualities

I'm enjoying these more leisurely non park days, obviously you are still having lots of fun and it's nice to see the other resorts without having to squeeze everything in.

I think we will do the same the next time we go - if we can manage the time. Or perhaps, if we can't - and if we're there during a "party season" - we'll just go to one of those for our Disney "fix". I was VERY surprised at how much fun we had without park tickets.
Thanks for hanging in there with us. |

What a snotty CM! Ah well, at least it was only one.
I have to say, I'd love a bonding session with Poot over a cheese plate. The young man has taste.

We were at WDW for nearly three weeks - and most of the CMs were OUTSTANDING. I've written this several times during the course of this report ( ) - but the front-line CMs make or break the holiday for people. I'd love to see Bob Iger do a week in Fantasyland - in August. I think it would do wonders for the way he sees the parks. Poot and his cheese, lol...once - when he was about four -a family friend asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. His answer: "French". Seriously, though - I don't get the idea of feeding kids different food. If from the beginning they eat what you eat - surely that's better for everyone? Lord knows it's easier (and cheaper!)... |
