The meals at Caseys corner in MK were big enough to share. The only reason DH and I got separate was because he doesn't like coleslaw

I would not stay on site without the dining plan the food is so expensive!

Tips maybe do a supermarket run to stock up on essentials even if you have to get a cab.

That's good to know! There's lots of nice crunchy salad with it too so it's arefreshing change from all the heavy options

You should give it a go. It's not like typical doughy, heavy Disney pizza at all.

Its the drinks during the days that stood out to us, having always been on the DDP, we never even thought about it, last year we paid cash and the drinks soon mounted up ( till we got a car and went to target for bottled water and soda )

either order a GG order, or taxi / uber to walmart / target to stock up on drinks and snacks

Re drinks. We buy a case of water and a case of pop for the room. In the parks we share drinks and also get free tap water quite often.

we freeze a few

take them all in these

ebay/itm/New-750ML-...AOSwLnBX4mN i

it stops condensation in your bag and keep the drink cool

we must have a 20 of them now, I am forever losing them and they turn up, we have 12 packed away in the suitcase for WDW and maybe 10 around the house LOL

they fit the water bottles and soda bottles really well

at that price it is rude not to

Remember Disney will provide iced water, which I believe is usually filtered for free at any outlet. We did this quite a lot. Tasted the same as the bottled water. Fountain water is also available, but is usually warm.

Totally missed the 'not in the parks part' sorry.
I know you probably mean resort restaurants but is offsite dining an option? Even with a taxi fare you'd spend far less on a Table service meal
