Florida Fire Frogs game
Hi, DH would like to see a baseball game whilst we're there in May. I'm not interested and don't expect the kids to sit through it either, eldest isn't sporty in the slightest. He did think of going to see the Ray's one afternoon whilst myself and our two children (14 + 6) are at the beach in Clearwater but it would mean he'd be gone for around 5hrs apparently. Anyway one of our American friends suggested going to a minor league game closer to 'home'. We have a villa booked so I'm happy to stay in for an evening, relaxing round the pool and eating goodies
Has anyone been to see the Fire Frogs? He's looked online but there isn't an option to buy tickets, is it because we aren't in Florida or can he turn up on the evening and expect to get a seat? TIA Tracey xxx |

Hi, the tickets for single games only went on sale yesterday. The tickets look cheap with the dearest ones being $11. They are a new team to the area, but play at the Osceola County Stadium which is just off of the 192.

As noted above, they are a "new" team - the Brevard County Manatees re-badged! First season is 2017. Tickets look well priced and there are some excellent promotions at most matches.
We will be going to a match in May without doubt. I love the Tampa Bay Rays but its a fair old trek to their stadium in St. Pete's. Baseball is a taste of True America and worth a trip for that alone!
