What to do at the weekend?
What do you do at the weekends in Florida? I've seen various posts advising to avoid the parks, avoid the water parks, avoid Disney Springs, avoid the shops! Is there anything left except sleep ?

This year is our 10th time and we always go to the parks! Never noticed a difference to be honest, the only thing we keep an eye on is our evening meal as resturants are more busy so we have an early dinner.

One Saturday we did gatorland, villa pool then old town Kissimmee car cruise.
The rest of the weekend days we still hit the parks and to be honest I didn't notice any real difference vs weekday. |

I have heard that Saturday is the best day to do magic kingdom as people will be going home on Saturday or arriving late. Not sure if it is good advice or not though.

Airboat ride, crazy golf or shopping
We've done Universal on a Saturday and Sunday though and not noticed too much difference

We don't find the weekends too bad at the parks.
Universal is particularly good on a Sunday, especially the morning. The malls are a bit busier but, if you're driving, we've found if you get there by about 11am you can park easily. There's so many shops and space it doesn't feel quite as rammed as a mall here does. |

What tickets do you have? Seaworld is supposed to be very quiet these days. We'll still be visiting the parks, but will avoid Epcot as the food and wine festival will be on, and the water parks as the locals will be more likely to visit then.
