Our Cheapest Trip Yet! We have been home for a while now so are fully back into our routine of daily life, our holidays are really important to us and we are grateful that we have had so many happy memories. This trip was a bit different to our previous ones but not in a bad way, holidaying with family members can sometimes be difficult but we are lucky that our relationship with Dad & Kim is a good one. Ive said before that we are all quite similar and on the same wave length of life, we are all considerate of each other and in general happy to make adjustments for each other's needs. We like to shop don't get me wrong but we certainly wouldn't have done so much had we been on our own but we did because Dad & Kim wanted to, but in exchange for that they probably wouldn't have gone to the theme parks had we not been there. We never felt we were stuck with them and I hope they didn't feel stuck with us, we had some times separated but mainly together which worked well. We all had a wonderful time and we certainly needed the break from reality and doing it together was the best thing for us all. Dads health has improved so much since our trip and I believe he needed that push to get him up and about again, everyone feels better when they have been on some rollercoasters in the sunshine right?! We have nothing planned for future trips yet unfortunately, in June we are having a weekend away to Stoke on Trent to watch a strongman show and there's a possibility that we may be going to Centre Parcs in September with a couple of our friends. Life right now is expensive for us, I have just passed my driving test after learning for the last 14 months, it has cost me £1800 in total which was far more than I ever thought I'd spend. Last year we bought Scott a classic mini (he previously has had a few) and the idea was that once that was ready it meant I can have his car. The plan is coming together but renovating cars to a high standard is a huge expense that I really hadn't realised would mount up to so much. It's a hobby that makes him happy but we would have been far more sensible to just buy me a little run around, we have committed now and I thinks Scott's heart would break if we got rid of it but we should use our sensible brain more often! So the next McGoo mission is to be sensible, clear our credit cards and then save save save so we can buy a house. When we got married we had a 5 year plan, by the end of that 5 years we would be in a position that we would be considering dogs and children. We are now nearly 3 & a half years into the plan and realistically we are now starting the 5 years again. We are still young, we have had lots of adventures together and certainly don't skrimp on day to day life so we cannot complain, we both have full time jobs and are both healthy it's just a shame our bank balance is not. Dad & Kim are considering going back later on this year but they are also considering doing some renovations on their house so may not be in the position to. We have all agreed that when (I'm hoping it's a when and not an if) Dad wins the lottery we will all be on a plane as quick as possible to continue on our family adventures together. So I guess thats it... Until the next time, thank you all so much for reading and commenting on our experiences =D I haven't started my Scrapbook yet as its been hard enough to get this report finished but when I do ill post pictures for all you crafters to see.

Thanks for sharing. What a lovely positive way to end a trippie. I am usually in the depths of depression for month after Florida scheming as to how I can go back!
Take care all of you x
