Hi anyone been and can recommend. Looking to do Airboat ride as well. How far is it from Orlando? Tia

We had an enjoyable afternoon there year. We'd booked a special offer with FloridaTix for a 1 hour airboat ride, sloth encounter and lunch. Was about 45 minutes from Port Orleans Riverside.

We stopped off at Wild Florida last year as we were travelling up from Miami to Orlando. I think it took us about an hour from Wild florida to WDW. Great place. Dd did the sloth encounter (main reason for us to visit) and we took some time to walk around the park. Would highly recommend.

We would recommend it. Quite low key but lots of fun. We also did the sloth encounter and airboat. Good time.

Is it best to book direct or via the likes of Florida tix and the like?

we booked direct - with a discount code - DESTC for airboat 20% off. I think DESTCANM for animal encounter 20% off.

(park entry, airboat 1 hr and sloth encounter -45min - came to just under $200 for 4 of us with discount)

When you book direct you have to select the date and time you want to go for the airboat tour and sloth encounter etc. Do you know if you have to stick to that date/time as we aren't quite sure of our itinerary yet?
