Mobile Help needed - how many days in each park?

Hi we will be in Florida in August for just over 2wks. We have 14 day tickets for magic kingdom, animal kingdom, Epcot Hollywood studios, typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach along with 14 day tickets for universal and islands of adventure. We are huge Harry Potter fans so I'm guessing plenty of time will be spent exploring that area. Just wondering if soneonxe can give me an idea how many days I would need in each park. We are a family of 4 with two children aged 9&7. Thanks

Everyone will give you different answers, I personally don't rate Epcot so will only spend one day there, one day in animal kingdom, one day in Hollywood studios, but if you're Harry Potter fans you could spend a whole day just doing that !

We were there for 3 weeks last August and the thing with August is it's so hot that you'll struggle to do full days in parks. Our kids were 10 and 6 and it was their first time in Florida. They aren't big thrill seekers so we didn't do big rides. They loved collecting AK wilderness badges and also the EP passport and kidcot stations which is why we spent so long in those parks.
We did the following - with a "day" being either rope drop til mid afternoon or mid afternoon til close.
MK 4 days (1 was MNSSHP)
AK 2 days
DS 1 full day opening til closing
EP 3 days
TL 1 day
BB 1 day
US/IOA 2 days with stay at RPR for express passes

Personally, I would do:
3 - 4 days Universal
2 mornings and 1 afternoon-evening MK
1 morning and 1 afternoon-evening Epcot
1 morning and 2 evenings HS (to do both Fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks, if both are on at overlapping times when you go)
1 morning and 1 afternoon-evening AK
With Disney water parks on some of the days where you are not arriving at a park until late afternoon
If you do half days like this at Disney, you don't need to bother with rest days, and you minimise queuing time by making full use of your fast passes every day. But as the previous poster says, everyone is different and it's just a matter of working out what's best for your family.

OMG - that's like asking how long is a piece of string

We play it by ear, and we also park hop in Disney so we don't stay in one park per day. And we often go to a water park in the afternoon after a theme park in the morning.

When we went in 2015 (my kids are now adults) we stayed at RPR for 1 night for FoL passes. We therefore did IOA and Universal Studios for 2 full days (in at 9am and out at 9pm on the first day, but couldn't hack it that long on the 2nd day! )

The weather will be very hot and humid in August - you will only be able to go at the pace of the slowest in the group.
