Calling all Disney pro's...

Travelling with husband and kids age 5,4 and 18months. Dates are 9th-21st April. Thinking not to bother with universal due to kids ages, but if you think we can/should do it please let me know thoughts. Busy day guide hard to plan around Easter weekend. Anything I'm missing? Need to check everything is ok on the specific dates. Advice on this?

9th MK early and book chef mickeys
10th HS early and back at night for Fantasmic and fireworks
11th quiet morning. AK in afternoon with rivers of light show in evening
12th Blizzard beach morning
HS in afternoon
13th MK and afternoon parade. Book cinderellas royal table.
14th Epcot
15th MK Evening parade and Wishes show. Book Crystal Palace character meal.
16th AK morning. Quiet afternoon.
17th Typhoon lagoon
18th Seaworld
19th Epcot and illuminations
20th MK and Disney springs
21st Free day atm ( can be moved)
22nd leave around lunchtime

Personally - I wouldn't do 2 nights of fireworks / shows on day 2 and 3 - as your body clocks will still be on UK time...

9pm is 2am, and more likely you'll be carrying 3 kids up the steps at RoL!

Take advantage of the time difference and do all your early must dos days 1-4, then a break/water park and ease into the split days into evening stuff.

There is loads for your kids to do at Universal - but equally you'll never get thru all of Disney in 2 weeks - we've done 6 weeks so far and never been to typhoon lagoon!

Then i think it will be hard work if you plan going back to the villa and then out again to the parks in the evening.

Thanks for the tip in splitting up the evening events... do people staying off site usually just go in once in a day, I have no experience of this so any advice is helpful.
Are we better just going in around noon and staying into the night, rather than morning at the parks, back to villa and then back in at night?

I would definitely recommend early mornings the first half of your holiday - take advantage of your jet lag and then later nights in the second half - where you could plan to just got to the parks after lunch into the evening.

Travelling back to a villa just for a break for a few hours in the afternoon can take longer than you would think - especially from the Magic Kingdom where just getting back to the car can take quite some time.

You could take a break from the parks by going to lunch at one of the close resorts or broadwalk from epcot for example.

Last July we split our days into either mornings until after lunch or after lunch into the evening only.

Yes we would either go early and back in the afternoon for pool time or go to parks later in the day and stay for the evening fireworks etc.

Thanks for advice: I've amended plan to this, let me know what you think: I have 3 days unallocated, do we do seaworld/aquatica/Busch gardens or universal/Ioa or do more in Disney?
9th MK early
10th HS early
11th AK early
12th suggestion?
13th MK early
14th Epcot afternoon +illuminations in evening
15th suggestion?
16th AK afternoon+ RoL show in evening
17th suggestion?
18th Typhoon lagoon and straight to MK wishes show
19th Epcot
20th HS afternoon+ Fantasmic show in evening
21st last full day MK
22nd pool and home

I would forget about Universal this trip as the kids are still quite young. I would see how much Seaworld and or Aquatica is for a day as it could be as cheap to do Discovery cove for a day and get Seaworld and aquatica as well. But it sounds like you have quite a lot going on without adding anything unless you really want to do anything else? I wouldnt bother with Bush Gardens either.
