Celebration, worth a visit?

As we're going for 3 ( yay!) weeks this time, I'm looking for things to do as well as the usual parks.

Would Celebration be a full day visit?

It's definitely worth a visit it's beautiful but not enough for a whole day. Half at max. Lots of boutique shops and restaurants. I just love to walk around the residential streets and admire the houses. You can hire bikes as well. You could combine with a visit to Disneys Wilderness Preserve which is what I'm doing this year.

We love Celebration, you can easily spend a half day there, not sure about a full day thought. They have some lovely quirky shops to go into, as well getting an ice cream and watching over the lake.

It's touted as Disneys way to give back to nature for everything they do at the main parks. It's the other side of Kissimmee about a 30 mins drive away.

You'll have to google it as I'm not allowed to place web links

I'd say half a day too. We like to go for breakfast at the Market Street Cafe and do it on a farmer's market day where there are some art and craft stalls too.

It's a gentle way to spend a different couple of hours. Very pretty.

We like to go there before we go to the airport on our last day. It's so peaceful and nice to get an ice cream and watch the kids in the dancing fountains, then walk round the lakes to see the wildlife. We always see a gator or two. The shops are a bit pricey, but worth a look in. It's not a whole day place really.

We are staying at Disney and are looking for other things nearby to do - we don't want to drive but are happy to use Uber/Mears.

We are skipping Universal this summer, but definitely want to go to Celebration. Good to hear we can spend half a day or so there 😁

We loved it, we hired bikes and cycled past amazing wildlife and equally amazing houses. If you have pets, there's a Woofgang bakery there. Kids loved stocking up on prezzies for the dog and cat.

We always go - in fact we're staying there for our first few nights this year. There are some lovely restaurants, Starbucks, Kilwins for fab ice creams and chocolates, some nice little shops (I can never come away without something!) and a lovely walk around the lake and looking at all the fabulous houses. You can hire bikes near the Bohemian Hotel and spend a couple of hours exploring the lake complex; there's also car tours from there, and rocking chairs on the lake front. If you have little ones there a fountain for them to play in too.
