Disney Magic - best place to stay for seasick wuss?

Helloey!

Hoping to book the Magic Dover-Norway trip next year, but wondering which part of the ship would be best for me? I get travel sickness and it's been about 18 years since I've been on a big ole boat - and it did not go well.

I plan on seabands and taking enough tablets that I rattle, but is there a recommend area of the ship, where I should feel the motion less? I feel an outside room might not be a good idea, seeing the sea bobbing outside my window. Was thinking perhaps inside room, at the front of the ship?

TIA!

Sam

You would want midship and the lowest deck, if you can't get mid ship then towards the back. I suffer from sea sickness, we always stay midship. I also pay a visit to get some ear seeds from the acupuncturist which I find help.

Fab, thank you! I would have totally done the wrong thing then!

I actually had ear seeds when I had acupuncture during pregnancy. Can't say whether they did anything or not, but I'll try anything and everything!

Thanks

We have booked the most central lowest deck stateroom we can for our Fjords trip next August.
DD and her boyfriend were seasick and lost a day in 2015 when we were forward on deck two so I booked as soon as I could to get the cabin I wanted.
Let's hope I've picked the right one!

Hi there,

Disney Cruises are so exciting!

I dont know if this helps (becuase we dont suffer from sickness at sea) but weve done 2 Transatlantic's on the Disney Magic (and doing this years too) and we found our cabins up on deck 6 and 7 to be fine when in rough weather, and they were towards middle of the ship also!

I dont know for sure, but i would imagine lower down may be worse? I may be wrong im just guessing as when it was a bit rough, we found when we were out and about it was worse and more noticeable the lower down in the shop we were.

I hope this helps!

So i cant imagine it being too bad!

Plus your not going accross the Atlantic Ocean!

Don't worry, it's fine I'm going to be taking as many remedies as I can, the room location should just be the cherry on top of my anti-sickness medication pudding

yeah, we're right near the elevators so I think very central.
