Golf driving range Rotonda area ?

Any Rotonda experts know of a driving range in the area that is open to the public ?

Kids would have to be ok and we would need club hire .

Or any other activities for sporty kids in the area ... thanks

Try rotondagolf they cover the 5 golf courses on the Rotonda, I am not into golf but I think all golf courses have a driving range.

Thanks Hank - I had a look at that website but it's not clear whether you have to be a member or not.

I guess I'll wait until we get there and ring round.

Duffy's on State Road 776 has a driving range which is open to the public and about 10 minutes or so from Rotonda West depending on whereabouts you are staying.

The clubs in Rotonda are open to non members but I don't think they have a driving range.

Rotonda Park, on the inner circle, has tennis courts and a children's play area. Depending on where you are staying you can cycle down to the park and even ride round it.

There are also tennis courts & sports centre at Tringali Centre on South McCall Rd. My son & nephew played tennis & basketball there.

Teenagers can buy a temporary membership to the gym opposite Walmart.

There are basketball nets down at Englewood Beach.
You can hire paddle boards or canoes on Beach Rd. There are guided tours through the mangroves.

You can hire bikes and skateboards from several places round Englewood.

Port Charlotte had a ten pin bowling alley ( only saying had as I haven't checked recently)

There is also a cinema in the mall.

Hope this gives you a few more ideas.
