Yay you've started! I so know what you mean about technology, it baffles me at times. Glad that you managed to change your seats to a bit further up.

Wow your hotel looks well posh, fab bargain

Hotel was really nice, and the whole car leave/ meet / greet was excellent. Very positive all round.

We did well on the seats. Even better the next day

Oh don't you just hate it when the websites won't play ball? SO frustrating!

Other than that, a nice start! Your hotel room looked totally lovely!

Must have been very strange leaving the boys behind! x

It really was frustrating ! But it had been quite a relaxed day overall.

I really missed Jamie - as it happened I was up early most days so managed to message or speak to him before he set off for school ( the reduced time difference helped) . He was very cool about it all .. i think he wished we had gone away for longer

I'm the manager of a KFC that's a very nicely built Dirty Burger The fries look like they've seen better days though!

A good start. Much as we love our family holidays, we do love a "just the 2 of us" holiday too.

It was very good ! Funny the boys always say only McDs have decent fries ! It was a quirky start to the holiday - I usually end up not getting dinner at all so this was a definite plus

I think we are going to get used to them
I did miss the lads though, they make me laugh and drive me nuts in equal measures

I booked the Sandman last night for our June trip. The park and fly deals are really good. I got a decent price for it through Holiday Extras but a link to them from MSE brought it down to £79 for a week without breakfast which I thought was amazing with M&G on the way back. I'm expecting to be charged an extra day charge of £10 as we land just before midnight so by the time we get through they may count it as an extra day but it's still a steal for what looks like a really nice place to stop. Thanks for the photos.
