Turtle hatching
Is there anywhere about to watch turtle eggs hatching along the beach?
I would love to see this and I'm sure I've seen it somewhere but not sure if I've got it mixed up. Thanks |

There are turtle nests on Siesta Key beach...
I'm not sure of the exact hatching time...I think it's around October... there are videos on You Tube. I hope that helps.. 😃🐢

We were in Cape Verde a few years ago and saw a turtle laying her eggs, it was an amazing experience.
I don't know if they lay/give birth at different times in different countries but in Cape Verde they lay eggs around June-Sept and hatch around October-January. |

Beautiful Barbados. We saw turtles laying eggs & the night we left hatching.
We stayed at the Beautiful Southern Palms Hotel, St Lawrence Gap last July - south of Island.

Turtles nest all around the Florida coast from May until October but the majority of nests are along the Atlantic coast.
In 35 years I've only seen one hatching which was in the middle of the day on Daytona Beach. The beach patrols stopped the traffic and the number of people present put off the seabirds from taking any hatchlings. |
