We would like to do a cruise for 4 nights or 7 nights still deciding...How much do you think we should expect to pay for adisney cruise compared with NCL or Carnival?..Theres 2 adults a 15 year old and 7 year old...
This will be our first time and i would love the Disney cruise but worried about the cost

I think you already know that it's much more expensive to go on a Disney cruise as opposed to RCL or others. You pay for the Disney 'magic'.. the food is all much of a muchness, the entertainment I'm sure is of similar quality ... just Disney is Disney!
You'd have to cruise out of Port Canaveral for DCL .. not sure about the others.
If you can fford DCL, do it .. it really is an experience and a half.

Hi

Have you check with Disney, Rcci, Carnival with prices?

Have a look at cruisecritic.co.uk

maybe that will help you

you can look at vacationstogo too...

someone had been booking last mins and had the good bargains... but depend what month what dates for you...

I want to book with vacationstogo last mins and I realised that I cannot do that as I need special services for our disablity... as I am watching it for next year for our in law to see any good for Disney Cruise...

Disney is a good cruise but nowaday very priced along you can afford it...whether Rcci can be good for kids too...

I wish you all the best...

Hi pudding

I can only tell you about my experience of sailing over the easter period and my inclination would be to tell you to book now to get a good rate on Disney.

We started looking to book a 7 night cruise in September 08 for Easter 09. I booked with NCL for $2,600 for 2 adults and 2 children in a balcony cabin. Disney was $12,000 for a balcony cabin

I checked prices constantly in case a Disney bargain was to be had but although once a few Cat 12s came up for $7,000 (inside cabin) that was it (maybe because it was easter).

Much as I love Disney I could not justify that much more so we sailed with NCL and had a great time.

So, if you can get a good price now and are willing to pay it might be good to reserve?

Yes, after take 4 times with Disney cruise and I realised how expensive but we enjoyed it... I booked with RCCI as it is reasonable price...it is much cheaper than Disney, I know I will missed it... Had looked at NCL too, it look very nice ship too...

Let me know how you get on okay...

Have only cruised with disney before - twice and have booked with Royal Caribbean for next time - nothing to do with cost just the fact that the boys are getting older - 14 and 17 and want all the exciting things to do - flowrider, ice skating, golf, rock climbing etc. The food on the Disney boat was lovely, service was great, spotlessly clean and Castaway Cay - my ideal of heaven.
