We've just come back from cruise on Carnival Vista - kids had no interest in getting off the ship! Keeping everything crossed we all have some sunshine ☀️☀️

Hard to know. I think we were really lucky this April. I did cruise last October half term and weather was fab, did one round med in October half term about 4 years ago and it was drizzly all week. I'm keeping everything crossed for sun!

Anyone know if Suntransfers are any good? can get a private taxi for 77 Euro return, which I thought was a good deal? will also help with the surprise for the kids as going to try and hold off telling them till they figure it out on our way to the port

We used suntransfers when we went on the Epic at Easter. When we arrived the driver was waiting and he was lovely but on the way back we waited half an hour then had to call and apparently he had been stuck in traffic and it was about 45 mins late in the end. luckily we had allowed plenty of time and I guess traffic can't be helped if that was the reason.

It should be a set €39 fare each way from airport to cruise terminal (and vice versa) if you just get a cab from outside the airport. We pre booked when we went in April, but just grabbed a cab outside the airport a couple of weeks ago. Do you dock on 30th? We disembark in Barcelona that day, so you will probably spot Sophie 6 (now 7) causing mayhem at the airport.

Yeah we do, we are on the 10.20 flight back to Manchester, so early start for us. may just grab a cab again don't want to be waiting around when we get off.

We're on 10.50 Ryannair to Stansted so will be off fairly early too. Can't wait now - tomorrow I'll be able to say next month is holiday time. We had a lovely cruise on Carnival Vista last week but something was lacking... the free drinks package It's our friends' first cruise - really hoping they enjoy it.
