Yay, great to see you have started Jo, it seems such a distant memory now . It was such a long day but the only gripe was Dallas airport, immigration was a complete joke, two immigration officers dealing with a huge queue, they reminded me of the sloths in Zootropolis, only I think the sloths were quicker
Then to top it off Dallas decided to hang on to my suitcase, they must have thought it looked like it needed an overnight stay there I hope you were impressed by my lack of panic, if the truth be known it was because I was past caring by then It was such a relief to finally get to our destination and step over the threshold of such a lovely villa, that welcome pack really was " welcomed "and kept us in breakfasts for a few days, many thanks to the owners of The Retreat at Westridge whose villa gave us a lovely home for the next nine days . Well done to the boys for being so well behaved on the flights, very wise to have them sitting separated Jo, it works a treat Looking forward to the next instalment although looking at the length of this first one I won't expect the second till after Christmas Mum xxx

Well that was like reading War and Peace!
Of course I'm not joking That was a travel day and a half Jo! I think I'd have been sobbing on the carousel if I was your poor mum, we once had all of our cases lost in Amsterdam and didn't get them back for 3 days! It was a blinking nightmare [all my make up was in my case ] I can't believe how tall Adam is! he looks so grown up now and both boys are so gorgeous! We also felt AA was a bit tired, and in need of a deep clean! 😬 At least the food was nice though! Really looking forward to more Jo and I promise to stick around until the end this time! Love you! T xx xx xx😘😘

Wowsers what a hard day - I think I would have had a meltdown in the baggage reclaim after everything you had gone through. Well done on staying so calm with the kid on the flight too 😉
Looking forward to reading the rest of your trippie and seeing some great piccies. Your boys have grown so much since your last trip!

Wow what a day, you all did so well staying awake for 24 hours without a major fallout 😳
I also bought the Girl on the Train for my holiday read it's so good, can't wait for the film to come out 😁. Oh and the ending for Mothers Day is as predictable as you think, good though 😉 Looking forward to this trippy! |

Sorry you didn't have the best of travel days. I've looked at The Retreat on the Dibb so many times it looks lovely, its on my shortlist, if we ever manage to get back to the magic No way your old enough to be a Duranie... Thanks for sharing.

Go you...I thought you weren't going to start yet! (You definitely deserved those hot chocolates today) I feel like I need one with a shot of brandy in now...AA have changed our flight home so we only have 50 minutes to catch connections-I see a night in Miami or missing suitcase in my future😬 perhaps a disasterous start in Charlotte too... I'm not panicking at all-it's all part of the adventure, right!?!
