Natural Springs

Anyone done a natural springs day out? Swimming etc

We are off I Drive but fancy doing a day tomorrow or Thursday.

Any suggestions?

Went to Wekiwa springs. Wow. What a day out.

We went to Weeki Wachee Springs State park. Was just over an hour drive from where we were staying in Four Corners, and had a great time. Natural Spring with a boat tour and a mermaid show canoeing. It is claimed to be a fresh 74 degrees, There is a Beach/Bay area and grassy area. They can hire you tubes for the flumes and lazy river, and even hire out tent/beach shelters/deck chairs if you cant find any shade. They have a caf� there, but we took a packed lunch so cant comment if they were any good,
If you go be sure to get there early for opening as the line to get in is quite long and it can reach capacity, especially at weekends.
Also bear in mind, if the weather turns stormy they can ask people to exit the water until it passes, as with any water attraction.
