Bluetooth - How Can I Make My Phone & Stereo Speak
Hi All
I’m totally not technically minded, but I know you geniuses are, so hope you can help. Almost 12 months ago, I bought my dads car from him, and in turn upgraded from a tape deck (very retro I know!) to a built in CD player with Bluetooth. I want to stream from my iPhone to the car radio, but cannot get it to work. The bluetooths on both find each other when scanning, but then I’m constantly told the connection has failed. My dad doesn’t know where he has put the big instruction manual that came with the car, and google has been no help. I’ve been told that I can purchase something to act as an intermediary between the 2, and therefore get them to play nicely, however, I’ve no idea what it is, how much it will cost, or where to buy it from! Can anyone help at all? Thanks in Advance

Does your new car stereo have a name or model number on the front panel?

Try this
Turn off Bluetooth and restart your iPhone and your car. Then Re-pair the iDevice or car you Connect: Settings > Bluetooth > Choose the device you are having issues with > Tap on the info button next to the device > Tap on Forget This Device. Then restart the pairing process

Sadly I’ve tried that a couple of times. It was the advice that came up when I had a google search, but nothing.
They can find each other, but then it just says pairing failed
