Twitter log in change - is this odd?

Hi there

Has anyone changed their Twitter password yet?
I have just changed it following the news tonight from twitter.

I changed the password ok and got an email to confirm this.

However I then got a 2nd email stating a new log in took place on my log in from an iPad in Barnet, London (nearest IP address) I live in Scotland.

Do you think that Twitter is just seeing me logging in and for some reason it is showing London rather than Scotland?

I'm worried I have now been compromised and have changed the password 3 times now with 2 of these emails after the first 2 resets.

Did you actually login on an iPad?

I live in the north of England and quite often my IP location will be london,

If I log in somewhere new on an Ipad i get an attempt was used to sign in from Bristol/London and I'm in Wales

Yes I’ve just done mine and had the same email straight after. I don’t have my location on for Twitter so assumed that’s why.

Unless you have location services turned on it will default to the main data centre for your internet provider, Vodafone usually shows as around Bristol for instance
