To nip away from magic kingdom for lunch at captain cooks at the poly? Or should we just go for dinner instead?

How quick depends on how long the transport takes but it is easy enough to get the monorail round or use the resort boat to go straight over there.

If it is busy in the park, it may be a nice break to get away and have a wander round a different resort.

It�ll be relatively quick if you fancy a break anyway. If you�re trying to cram as much in as possible I�d probably eat in the park.

We plan to do this on our next trip but go to chef Mickey's, figured it would be a nice break out of the chaos of the park and easy enough on the monorail or boats.

I would agree if your aim is to maximize ride time eat in the park.

What about Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary instead? Then you can walk rather than taking the monorail and it gets good reviews. I am already dreaming about the Peanut Butter Pie, but that's probably just me
