Dining Plan Menu's
Something I've noticed when eating in the parks, and not sure if it is common sense, basic knowledge but it certainly surprised me! Considering you pay for a dining plan it should be the same?
(First time ever doing Disney Dining and paid for HB Plus) When having a meal plan, and when paying for meals when you eat, the menu items are different. If you order a steak from Ratatouie, you don't get to pick the sauce it comes with even if it states so. The desserts are completely different such as the Gusteau's dessert on the dining plan is a basic wafer with profiteroles on and without a dining plan its a citrus cake type dessert with cream in? Not sure whether this is how it always is? Noticed it on a lot more occasions that the menu's certainly are changed! There was no word of warning with this hence why I was a bit unsure when my meals were given to me at the table! If it's true, don't google the pictures of the food because it's not what it is! It doesn't help a fussy eater like myself

Odd! This never happened to me. I was allowed to choose my sauce, both times I've been to Remy, with the free dining plan, too. Can't comment on the dessert as I had the chocolate mousse.
Also I've used vouchers, and paid, separate occasions in Annette's, and the food was exactly the same. Either they ran out and substituted, or they've changed the way they do it. Very strange. X |

It does seem odd! I thought maybe it’s a food shortage but even at Yacht Club they missed the tempura off the cod dish, and others got it on their plate 😱
Unless they prioritise paying customers? I’m not one to moan and I don’t really mind, had an amazing time! Just heads up because it seemed we got short changed 😂👎🏻 Wondered if I missed something off T&C’s! |

So you got plain cod? That's really strange when it's served with chips! hahaha! Not that it's funny... just weird!
I also had that, and mine was all battered up! Both times, in fact. I deffo feel you were short changed! x |

I don’t think this can be to do with how you’re paying for the meal.
We’ve gone with and without dining plans before, and the only difference has been (a) having more choice, but at more expense if paying in cash or using vouchers at face value, and (b) drink not included if not on dining plan at certain restaurants
