MNSSHP buses
What time do the buses run until on these event nights as we are thinking of going to Disney Springs for the morning, leaving car then doing our traditional resorts "Tour" then finally onto MNSSHP but obviously we need to get back for the car after midnight at Disney Springs.
Or would you advise knock the "Tour" on the head and drive to MK? |

The buses from MK and other Disney parks back to the Disney resorts run "until the park is clear" (basically they run indefinitely until everyone is back to their resort). So even after MNSSHP or late night EMH, they will continue until everyone gets home.
I'm not so sure what time the bus from MK to Disney Springs runs until though! So one possibility, if you do have to take Disney transport back to Disney Springs from MK, is to take a Disney Resort bus to SSR and then walk over to Disney Springs. But honestly, I think driving to MK would probably be easier in terms of getting home late at night, even if you have to deal with the ferry/monorail/bus back to the TTC...

It’s the one thing I really don’t like about MK compared to other parks - if leaving at the end of the night it can take quite a while to get to the car park as everyone is trying to leave and stuck at the mercy of the transport. Think last time we stayed till the end many years ago we were queueing for the Monorail for an hour (think they were having issues with it as when on the monorail we then we’re stopped for a while again).
Hopefully as MNSSHP is a restricted ticket event I am hoping when we go in August it’ll be a lot quicker getting back to car park as you’d hope it’ll be quieter on the earlier MNSSHP nights compared to a normal August night leaving. We’re just going to take our time exiting when we go as we’ve planned a chilled morning next day. Dave

Disney Springs closes at 2am anyway, so buses run to there.
If no buses ran from MK, I would probably walk to Contemporary and catch a bus there to DS, or as a pp said, take a bus to SSR and walk to the garage you're parked at. that's at least 3 possibilities for you there are others, not free though. And parking at TTC would probably be easier. you mention doing a resort tour, but as buses do not run between hotels, you'd already save time parking at TTC and use the monorail. you'll save time in the morning, and in the evening. if you're concerned about parking costs, I'd ask how much the time lost in transportation is worth. |

The official website states buses to DS from the 4 parks stop at 11pm or 2 hours after park closing which ever applies. So for MNSSHP nights finishing at midnight, they should be running buses to DS until 2am if the website is to be believed. If not as others have said get a bus to SSR and walk over to DS.
