It's complicated and the answer depends on the following variables :
Is the DVC / AP discount available at your chosen restaurants for the meal you have chosen as some are lunch only. Do you order alcohol most/some/none of the time? We order cocktails & wine at most dinners so TIW is a no brainer for us still but if you don't the break even spend gets complicated to assess against the (free) 10% with the other options. |

As above if you like a alcoholic drink with your meal the discount is good. Break even point is about $750 on meals I think. If you're doing two trips (or more 🙄 in a 12 month period then I think it's worth it. Also adds the tip so stops all the messing around.

There is a great discount table on allears.net that may help you decide, it shows all the different restaurants and what they take.
As both posters above say, $750 is break even and it depends on where you are eating.

Given virtually every table service restaurant has 10% DVC discount (if you qualify with blue card), break even is generally a lot more than $750. We don’t drink that much alcohol, so ours would be nearer $1300 which I won’t spend. Purely a mathematical calculation as to worth it or not.

Yes in a 14 day trip I suspect you’d really struggle to get the money back Ali.

Going for 3 weeks yourkshireT but we eat at some of the nice restaurants at dr Philips Roy’s and seasons 52 so only have about 6 Disney ones booked over the 3 weeks which I think most we can use the dvc card or the AP
Always had the table in wonderland card but not the AP Edited at 02:06 PM. |

Ali. It may still work out ok for you as if you time it right you can get 13+ Months validity on it so it would cater for next year as well.
Going to be a tight run thing though to recoup the $150
