Did it really matter if holiday companies flew in the same number of people that where already here and wanted to go home before Irma hit? (Net result, same number of people) They certainly would not be flying empty planes to the US just to pick them up unless the Forigein Office said for people not to come or leave.
For the holiday companies delaying that amount of people would have taken weeks to get back on schedule and cost them a fortune. People probably wanted to get here so they didn't lose their once in a year holiday. Completely different if the area around Disney was expected to be under 6 feet of water for days/weeks like Houston or New Orleans was. I can see both sides of the story. To be honest driving around today, a part from a few downed trees and loads of plant debris about you won't think a hurricane had been through the area. |

We went to Logan's last night and IHOP this morning and there's a fantastic atmosphere everywhere. I suppose it's relief but I felt everyone just wants to get back to normal as soon as possible.
