Hi there. Have just booked and thegirl in the shop didnt know anything about it😣 so i paid for the seats as i dont want to mess about but she said she would ring special assistance on Tuesday. Are you able to chose which seats you want? Just thinking DS hates it when someone in front has the seat reclined for the whole journey. Which are the best to ask for? It is proberly better if i ring myself. You never know they might give me a refund😉

They don’t normally let you have front row, extra leg room seats for free, tho they might give you them for a reduced amount.

I called to book special assistance with BA the other day, the OP is correct about the language barrier and when I said it was for ADHD I had to tell him what that was.

He did book the seats for us and it was free of charge to do it, we didn't get a choice but we are all sat together.

I think tge problem can be people booking with “disabilities” when actually they don’t have such issues to cheat the system.

BA have always been really good with us & our son , they have always pre assigned seats for us

They should be named and shamed. I would never do this, and i woul love to be able to swop with them then they might realise what it is to have a disability or a child with a disability being hiden or not😳

Just come off the phone with the welfare team😣 what a waste of time, i was on for 20mins in the end i asked her to ring me back.
She says i cannot book until 90 days before our return flight. I told her we were going for 3 weeks and that those going for 2 weeks would be able to get first pick and DS loves to sit next to a window and this would really help us. She wouldnt budge on it.😣 told her i was very disapointed. She told me to ask at the airport when we get there🤔. Any thoughts?
