Hilton Tokyo Bay Flash Sales?

Have read a couple of times who got rooms at the Hilton Tokyo Bay via a flash sale.

How do people know this is happening, are they just checking the Hilton site daily and see if or... ?

The reason for that hotel being of interest is I have Gold Hilton status via work, and hope it might be worth something with this hotel, possibly free breakfast?

I booked mine during a flash sale, end of Jan i think, so assume once per quarter? I knew they did flash sales, as was told that the Hilton could be booked for as low as $120 per night. So signed up for the Asian specific emails.

Think mine is 66,000 yen for 3 nights, so £150 inc all the taxes but that was for a bigger room and also included breakfast buffet (normally £15 or so pp). Was a Hilton Honors rate but i'm only "blue" status - just signed up for the free wifi.

Thanks fro reply, but how to sign up for Asia specific emails? When I try that the nearest I can pick is Hawaii - the only other option is Latin America / Caribbean.

I get Hilton Gold for free via work, does that get me benefits in this hotel?

you are right, i think it was when i signed up for hilton honours and that was an option under email subscriptions.

You should get whatever perks levels Gold gets. Not sure it gets you any more discounts on the rate, just being a member gets you the special rates.
