iPhone 7+ or iPhone 8+

I have an iPhone 6S+ which I like but it's getting very slow and it's time to change it.

I'm with Vodafone and have 12GB of data which seems excessive but the rep reckons I use about 9 quite frequently.

He has quoted me £42 for a 7+ and £48 for an 8+ including 16GB data which I am sure I will never use.

Any thoughts on the difference? I was hoping to pay less than that

I’d go for the 8 plus just because it’s only a £6 more and it’s newer and has wireless charging.

I have the 7+ and the only difference is the wireless charging that I wasn’t too set on anyway. Only £6 but equates to an extra £144 over a 2 year contract.
👍

👍
Yes your right but after the 2 years surely the 8+ will be worth more than the 7+.

If your contract is 24 months, for the 8+ you will be paying £1152, for £1154 with o2 you will get unlimited minutes/texts and 25 gb of data.

The IPhone 7s + has a trade in value of just £262!

Not sure why anyone would pay £1000 over two years

The IPhone 8+ is a much better deal and a better phone ( it has a much faster A11 chipset)

Yes- certainly safe to assume so, just addressing the post which highlights only £6 more when in reality this is per month.

I have just upgraded to the 8+ from a iPhone 6 with O2. If you are eligible for an O2 open discount they have just increased the discount level from 25% up to 40% of the tariff. O2 have also just added ‘Travel inclusive zone’ to contracts with 4gb & above of data so I can now use my phone in Orlando 😎

I have the O2 Open discount applied to my tariff (I upgraded in April to an O2 refresh contract) but the discount only equated to 25% discount. Is the increase to 40% applicable to all?
