ROFR passed - DVC contract at AKL is ours :)
Hi everyone,
We found out two days ago that our bid on our first DVC resale has been accepted. We can't actually believe it as we thought Disney would pull it at ROFR but they didn't! We've got 230 points at AKL at 95 dollars a point. 86 in 2019 & 230 in 2020 onwards. Really happy! Thanks for everyone for your advice - on our last trip we went on a DVC tour of Copper Creek and loved the DVC idea but not the direct prices, so this has been perfect for us.

Good one, great resort, and owning there makes getting value rooms easier and club rooms possible.
Price decent too. You planning going every year in a studio or every other year in a 1 bed? 230 points will see you right either way. Edited at 07:01 PM. |

Thanks for the replies everyone - we're over the moon with the contract and cant wait to go back!
We're probably looking at doing 1 bed every 2 years, however the temptation to go every year in a studio is appealing.  As others have said in other threads, you can have an idea of what you want to do, but our needs now may be different in 3-5 years so we'll see what we do.
