Mobile Alcohol on DDP

Given that you pay for an adult DDP from 10 years onwards, does that mean that those plans have an alcoholic drink attached? If you had 3 kids aged 12, 14 and 16 for example and 2 adults- could the 2 adults get 5 alcoholic drinks on a QS or TS credit and pay for the kids soft drinks oop?

Yes you can get an alcoholic drink with every adult credit. Been doing this all this week with no problem.

I can see how it would work with QS but how would it work with TS?

That's handy to know, we plan to eat separately to the kids this year as they won't eat a lot of things we want to try and we got bored of their choices towards the end last year (QSDP). The eldest only drinks milk or water and whilst the younger 2 do drink soft drinks as we have the refillable mugs we prefer they drink water or squash but if they want a soft drink it's not a big deal.

Related: can you take one of the alcoholic drinks (Bloody Mary and Mimosa, I think) at the Garden Grill breakfast with a TS DDP credit?

It's clearly never too early in the morning to get right properly on it.

Wow, amazed ( thrilled lol) to hear this. Even the Disney website says it is only over 21s who get the alcohol credit ?

I hope this isn’t allowed. I like the fact that for the most part you don’t see lots of drunks at Disney. I’m not a tee totaler and will be enjoying some alcoholic drinks with my meals. My 16 and 19 year old will be on the old style pop though. (Worth noting the 19 year old lad is less than impressed) 😂

Wouldn’t you have to produce I’d for the alcoholic beverage, so if that’s the case each person would have to have separate I’d, so can’t see how getting 5 drinks and there’s only two of you would work?

Would be interesting to find out, I thought Disney I’d for all alcoholic drinks, and two was the maximum they would give out in one go ?

If we want to have no drinks, 1 drink or 10 drinks we will - we're on holiday, after all.

Getting a cheeky freebie care of my 15-y-o daughter who is on the adult dining plan is going to make absolutely no difference to our consumption, whether it happens or not.

Back to the main point, I wonder if this is a case where the tipping culture works in favour of the guest. If a server turns a blind eye to the under-age person and still provides "their" alcoholic beverage to be consumed by the adult, then the theoretical bill total will be higher meaning they will get a bigger tip.

If an extra couple of cocktails at, say, $15 a piece are given to a table in this way then it's an extra $5 in tips, give or take, for the server.

But as a QS restaurant it wouldn't make a difference as you don't tip?
