Boma Breakfast and getting to AK

Hi we have a large group of 11 booked at Boma for 8am. Can anyone advise how long breakfast roughly takes and how long we should allow to drive from AKL to AK Park, and get into the park. We are not doing FOP as have a FP another day. Our first FP booked is for the Kilimanjaro Safaris at 10.05, is this realistic time wise? Many Thanks

Boma is a buffet style. Queues are not usually very long but time wise it depends on how many courses you want. We always do fruit, followed by main course followed by pancakes or waffles (with rests in between). Making me hungry just thinking of it.
Animal kingdom park is very close to the hotel so you should have plenty of time. The only problem could be the queue trying to get through security. It would depend on the crowd level on the day.
Love Boma! It's always our first morning breakfast. We usually book 7.30 and virtually have the place to ourselves.

Best buffet breakfast on site or at least that's what our waitress told everyone! If there's a huge queue at the AK entrance use the side one . Go through the Rainforest cafe gift shop and it's there. Just scan your MB or ticket and you're in.

Remember that you will have a 1 hour window on your fastpass so as long as you use it before 11.05, you will be fine.
