Yes you do get a drink with QS meals. In the parks you can get a cup to use with the soda machines or a hot drink, fruit juice, water, speciality drinks (frozen drinks etc) and even alcohol. The sodas where you help yourself are a regular size (but with refils available) or if it’s served to you they come in regular and large. You can get either size with a QS meal.

Its the same as above at resorts but if you have the QSDP you can swap your drink for a snack item/dessert and use your refillable mug for a drink.

I’m sure I read that some resorts are not allowing the swap from drink to snack anymore. Okw allowed us to do this last year though as we had our resort mug for a drink!

You will have no problem swapping your drink for a snack item at resort food courts. They expect it because people have the refillable mug. In the parks however it’s generally not allowed. We tend to grab a bottle to take rather than a soda in parks

I have read that Pop sometimes refuse, but generally you should be fine at resorts. It's the parks that refuse the swaps which is understandable, since you can't use the mug in the parks anyway.

Shame though, as I drink water pretty much all of the time so a paid drink is a bit wasted on me. Unless it's from Starbucks.

We’ve swapped a drink for a dessert several times at POR & FQ. If you want ice cream as your dessert just let them know at the till, they’ll then stamp the back of your receipt and you can go back to get your ice cream after you’ve eaten your main course.

I would take the drink and keep it in the fridge and then take it to the parks for later. Use the rf mug in the resort. Worked well for us.
