Which app to use for Satnav
Last time we went we got lost out of Miami and it ended up costing us over an hour to get back on track. This time my dh is on the Three network and has the feel at home package so planning on using the satnav on the phone.
Which one would you recommend? Thanks

We don't use satnav much unless we're out and about in areas we don't know well. About 4 years ago we fancied a trip to the coast but to come home on the back lanes rather than the Interstate.
Joan downloaded "HERE WE GO" to her iPhone free. If you download the Florida maps here in the UK or in a reliable Wi-Fi area over there you can use the satnav without using data. We had a ride to Winter Park and Leu Gardens in April and wanted to avoid as much of I-4 as we could. HERE was faultless in getting us there. Our mobiles stay on flight mode through the whole holiday as we use WhatsApp or Facetime to communicate home. Mick

We used Navmii last year. Pretty good, and won’t use data for navigation (we stored favourites back at the villa using WiFi).

I just used Google Maps on my last trip - you can download local areas for offline use, although I kept forgetting. It didn't seem to use *that* much data, either!

Google maps in the USA incorporates Wazes traffic reports so either of these two will be perfect.

Same as Mick, Herewego has worked for us both home and abroad, can't fault it.

Google maps again, i use google maps off line, it does take up space on your memory card but its costs nothing in the way of data to use.
