Virgin announced new “the booth”

I don't get "The Booth" at all. So 2 people can sit together for part / all of the flight? I fly solo anyway so it's obviously not aimed at me anyway. I've flown Upper (once only) and based on that I am flying Upper out (if Joe ever gives the go ahead) and PE back as it's a lot of money for a flight where I mostly want to sleep and the lay flat beds I found were really hard and quite uncomfortable.

I’m surprised it’s at the front, I thought they’d put it between UC and Premium as a way to try and get Premium passengers to upgrade in future, like the Loft

I also don’t see the point in it. We loved the 747 so we could dine together, but I’m not sure I’d want to try and reserve the booth to do that.

Having said all that, I’m v happy that eventually we may get on a A350…

I have no idea why they have done this, it’s very cramped, it’s looks uncomfortable and you will be very time restricted no doubt

Well if its anything like the previous bar area - it wont get much use on most flights anyway.

Seems like it might be there to allow people travelling together to meet up- if they cant sit near each other due to the limited number of seats/config.

Given the prices they seem to be charging currently - I am more interested in which doors are used for disembarking and if that puts PE in pole position again - that was always a huge bonus on arrival in MCO and other places - getting off before the masses, especially if the BA flights were also landing around the same time.
