More suggestions of decent for @30s boozers

High Bridge/Grey Street -

Fitzgeralds, Old George, Beehive ( looks rough but seriously its fine just very busy & cheap !) , Duke of Wellington , Pleased to Meet You (bit of a gin palace later on but ok during day imo) , Bacchus, Market Lane aka Monkey Bar, Lady Greys

Haymarket / Percy Street -

The Goose (spoons type pub) , Three Bulls, The Percy, Crows Nest, The Hotspur, 5 Swans (massive spoons), The Trent

very close to SJP so very busy but all ok for 'home' fans

The Strawberry (cant get any closer better post match imo) , Rosies, Newcastle Arms, Irish Club.

Personally i would avoid the Gate / central Bigg Market area... more for the young daft lads

All in all there are 108 pubs within 1/2 mile of SJP so they cant really go wrong!

Anything else just ask

Howay the Lads !

Wow! I thought we were fortunate to have 9 pubs within walking distance of our house but 108 is mind boggling! Thank you so much! Sounds amazing

I went a few weeks ago and asked Novocastrian for advice. We booked The Broad Chare and Prima on his recommendation and they were both fantastic
We have a fantastic weekend - stayed in the Crowne Plaza

Excellent! Thank you - I’ll pass it on. DS has already booked an hotel somewhere central (not sure where) because prices were starting to soar.
