Cash or card?

Sorry to be the one to ask this question!

Is cash still widely accepted in Orlando or are card payments preferred like some of the shops/restaurants here?

I tend to use a mixture of cash and card whilst on holiday and my parents prefer all cash. I don't want to be stuck with cash if I end up using a card to pay for everything.

Hi Beth,

We go tomorrow and are taking a mixture, seems to be that food outlets require card only, but I imagine retailers will take any form of money that they can!

I’ve been shopping today card is preferred but cash is acceptable
Contactless is a bit of a hit or miss
All the stores are saying there is a coin shortage so if paying in cash try to have the odds in coin if possible
I used $15 +tax of absolute rubbish in Dollar tree they were delighted
