Christmas for students

I've sent DS an advent calender he loved it and started playing Christmas music and planning the flats early Christmas Dinner with his mates. Hes got lots planned before he comes home for the break including a trip up to Edinburgh with his girlfriend. Im just chuffed hes settled in so well and loving uni life. His girlfriend seems to have settled a bit more too which is great. I hardly hear much from DD but she's finally got herself a much needed part time job. She's having an amazing time at uni and so much better than last years experience due to covid. Going to do some Christmas shopping with her next week in Lincoln. Couldn't ask for anymore than they are happy & healthy x

I haven't seen my son on 2 and a half years due to covid. We've lived abroad for 9 years and hes at uni. I haven't had a Christmas with him in... must be 5 years as he went back to Belfast to do his A levels. Im so so excited he's coming to visit on 12 Dec. I miss him so incredibly much
