We flew MAN-LHR-MIA earlier today with BA.
We used the Verifly app, no issues at all at check-in, processed v quick at MAN.
I have to say I felt the BA service/aircraft wasn't great. We were in row 39, seating ok but the IFE was limited compared to when we flew MAN-LAX with Virgin in 2019. The flight today had the touchscreen & wired handsets rather than the larger touch screens.
Staff were on the ball enforcing masks, there were a couple of people without masks after eating & were asked politely to put the masks on again.
Food was decent enough, I didn't see them come round with snacks/coffee much as I was sleeping/hiding under my blanket (see below).
The cabin was absolutely freezing! I had jeans & quite a thick cardigan (or 'hoodless hoodie' as my younger work colleague calls it ) on & still had to wrap myself in my blanket. I did mention it to cabin crew, but nothing was really done about it.
Took about 30 mins to get through immigration at MIA, dead easy, no covid checks, just "how long are you staying" etc.

Sitting at Gatwick now. Highly recommend Verify for those that can use it. The normal check in was completely full, only had two people in front of me in the Verify lane. Just showed the app to be let into the lane, then just the usual passport check at the desk. Done in 5 mins.

Assistance security is closed though.

At Heathrow I wasn’t asked a single question. I checked in using the machines and then for getting in the queue for baggage drop I just said I had verify, no one has actually ever asked me any covid questions or send my tick

Just sat in giraffe at Heathrow T5 eating breakfast. We were asked if we had verifly but they didnt need to see it as it was linked to our booking and they had all the details on their screen.
Very busy here but no different to pre covid check in. Lots of people not git verifly and more complicated for them with lots of paperwork. Not asked to show anything. Now to hit duty free 🤣

Have fun, if you see a bald West Ham fan being escorted out by security from spoons that will be me

Have a great Holiday!

Great to hear about the Verifly app. I didn't realise they had there own lane. is that the same for the return flight too?

Can I ask is Verifly an app ? I had an email from Virgin telling me to add my docs within 72 hours of my flight but it looks like I do this through the website / my log in.
