Frozen the musical

Hi all we are looking to go and see frozen the musical in London sometime next year. Just wondering has anyone seen it yet and if so is it good.

Also my nieces will be 3 and half when we go. Will they be allowed in and will they enjoy it as they love to watch frozen.

It says in the guidance recommended for children 6 and above but says children under 3 won’t be allowed in.

Thanks in advance.

I saw it on Broadway a few years ago and wouldn't really recommend it for young children. There are a couple of scary scenes (people wearing black costumes, with red LED lights as eyes, walking through a forest). Whilst it is Disney, it's written for an older audience rather than little children.

Disney on stage does tend to have dark bits in it.

Children under 3 won’t be admitted, but 3 and over can go in, however it is recommended for over 6s - probs due to the scarier bits. Same with lion king and beauty and the best.

I'm going on Sunday and can't wait! Seems like forever that I was sat in that queue for tickets
A friend of ours is playing Pabbie and I'm so excited to see him back on stage again.

I think a lot of the reason its recommended for 6+ also comes down to their ability to sit quietly for a two hour performance, as well as being tall enough to see. Even though a lot of theatres have booster seats, the seats are very low down for the very small children to be able to see the stage well enough.
I'd be tempted to try them with a panto first before shelling out for Frozen. Although I think it'll be an amazing show, test them out in a show like a panto where they're encouraged to shout out, sing and then judge whether you think they could cope with the theatre style more. I'm fully expecting children (and big children) to join in with the songs and stuff, I still think it'll be frowned upon for very small children to attend. Obviously you know your nieces, but I know my girls at that age would've wanted to chat throughout and join in with all the script etc as they all love Frozen.
Thankfully they're 24 and almost 22 so I think I can trust them now

I took my daughter to New York when she finished her GCSEs for some Dad n Daughter quality time, and we saw Frozen on Broadway whilst we were there, and it was excellent - really good fun.

I noticed via his IG story, Joe Wicks took his daughter to see it yesterday and she's certainly not six. In fact I've just looked it up and she's three.
