Yes, I agree although every time we visit (at least once a week as it’s only down the road from us), it gets emptier!

I’d estimate a third of the units are now empty; some of the blocks are now empty of any open shops!

Covid saw some of them go under; I’m guessing that some closed up as they saw so few customers after lockdown eased why pay rent, wages, utilities etc for a unit with many customers remaining as online shoppers.

The west London one is nicer and has more posh shops. The east London one feels like it has more shops to me, but is more high street. Stratford is bit of a gritty area in my opinion, but easy to visit Olympic park, and docklands from there.
