BA returning to A380 on Miami route

Great news, BA are returning the A380 to service and one of those routes is LHR-MIA on 3rd December

I'm hoping that we get the A380 next August (BA207) as we were supposed to fly on one last summer. I'm looking at the seat selection on ba.com and the economy cabin looks half the size as normal for a 777.

Will this mean more flight to go on sale and more cheap seats available. I don't know a thing about flights 😃

I was thinking the same as I plan to use that route next summer. Haven't booked yet so time to see how it goes. Just need the damn car rental prices prices drop too

The BA A380 has economy cabins on both decks. The total number of economy seats is 303, the most on any BA 777 is 252.

So BA207 to MIA on 17/08 is showing on BA manage my booking as a 777 - with economy being rows 25-40 and a 3-4-3? If I go onto Seat Guru, it shows a 777-300 (773) with economy being 28-50 on a 3-3-3 layout!

I know it can change, and more than likely will, we like to book the row in front of the toilets in the middle of the cabin as they recline slightly with no one behind & it helps me get comfy with a bad back and a heart issue (so I am not so crampt up!)but there is no toilet in the middle of the cabin on the BA seating plan. Sorry, am waffling!

I know that The flight we're on is still showing a 777 with a single deck layout, that's what I was questioning.

Rows 25-40 in a 3-4-3 doesn't match any of the known cabin configs for BA. Are you sure you're not on a codeshare AA flight? BA1528 is actually operated by American, also on a 777.

ETA: Nevermind, I just saw your flight number in your post - that's on BA metal. That's still a strange config though. Maybe they've done a refurb on their 4 class model? That's the only one that aligns cabin size wise, but it should be 3-3-3.
