Me and hubby visit Edinburgh every December for our anniversary. We normally only stay 1 night but doing 2 this year as missed out last year 😂.
Was wondering if anyone knows of nice place can book for lunch. Ive tried The Dome but its fully booked. We have The Ivy booked for breakfast one morning.
Anywhere else we should visit?
We like quirky/ unusual places.

Palm Court in the Balmoral Hotel.

So architecturally interesting.

Not lunch but go to Panda & Sons for cocktails - amazing speakeasy underground with wonderful concoctions! You'll need to book.

What about the Witchery, the gothic theming is lovely.

For amazing food wedgewood on the royal mile. We did the tasting dinner but the lunch menu looks fab.

We went to Rose Street Garden in August and really enjoyed it. Didn’t go inside as we could only sit outside when we went.

If you like fish recommend Fishers in the city located in Thistle street just down from George street.

We had The Ivy booked in June but when we turned up there had been an outbreak of the "C" word. We went across the road to Amerone and had a lovely meal there.
