I second this. We ate there a few months ago. The potted beef is amazing. I could have just had another potion instead of a steak!

For your meal, it doesn’t have to take too long but the original ‘proper’ Ivy in Covent Garden is very good. Had an excellent meal there a couple of weeks ago with outstanding service. It’s different to the chain ones in terms of service, atmosphere etc. It isn’t too expensive and food is very good. My daughter had the fish and chips and it was about the largest fish I’ve seen for £18.

The potted beef was delicious. I was very impressed with the service and the food. The set menu worked perfectly for us.

Service & food at Hawksmoor is always fab.
We go to their Knightsbridge location often.

They look after their customers well; we once had a booking cancelled at short notice by them due to a flood.
When we next visited, they had it on their system that they’d cancelled us and as way of an apology, they offered us any drink on them.
Also had free desserts or treats more than once when you advise it’s a birthday, anniversary, special occasion etc; it really was!

Off there again next Sunday for a roast 😋😋
