U.K. Christmas markets

Anyone visiting any Christmas markets this year?
We have Manchester Christmas market this weekend ( a little early but was just a happy coincidence as going to visit ds) and then we have a a weekend in York for their Christmas market at the end of November as we had such a fab trip in the summer we thought winter would be great!

Yes of course, I’d be happy to!
We go on the 27th😊
I have just booked the York castle museum again (our tickets from
August are valid for a year)as they turn the Kirkgate Victorian street inside all Christmassy with projections etc.. so sounds lovely!

We are there this weekend too. Daughter and I are going to Rick Astley’s free NHS concert. I didn’t realise the market was on until today. We’ll have a little look round and a Baileys hot chocolate before the concert. We will go to another market a bit nearer Christmas, Liverpool probably.

We might go to Manchester, we have only been once before and it was really busy and I’m a little put off.

We went to York Christmas market in 2019, they are smaller scale than Manchester but were good. They had a bell tent that sold hot chocolate, beer etc which had wood stoves inside

Yes I think I saw that tent mentioned today in something I read, I’m looking forward to it! Also looking forward to a trip to my favourite brewery 😋

Went to see Steps on Thursday and one of the young women next to me said they were coming back with their mum to see Rick Astley.
