Unable to upgrade to UOAP
Anyone else had this?
Been to a guest services window hear hogwarts express and told we can't upgrade to a preferred pass as they had been bought through a 3rd party (ATD) anyone else had this or just a case of try a different guest service window? |

Oh I hope you manage to get this sorted as I plan on doing the same and bought from atd also ! I’ve never heard of them refusing before and last time we did it we had gotten a great deal with our tickets from another company and still where able to upgrade! I’d definitely try someone else , sometimes it can just be inexperienced staff xxx

Was just about to say try elsewhere as I don't think it makes any difference where you bought it first!

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the upgrade to Annual Pass?

Very strange to hear they refused maybe an inexperienced cast member? Glad you got it sorted, the annual passes at universal are very good value for money esp if u go couple times a year

Don't mind at all if it helps people we went for the 3 Park Preferred Pass
Our tickets (3 Park explorer bought at same time as Disney tickets through ATD )were traded in with the value of $310.49 We then paid the additional $265.72 including tax (worked out as £199 in total) to get our UOAP's, then went straight to the passholder lounge for our pin and magnet |

Really happy you got it sorted , just looking at the value they gave you for yours and it seems a bit low I thought it would be better than that , we only bought ours the other week and although it was part of the combo the same as yours the universal ticket part worked out at roughly £274 at today’s exchange would be $364 ? Last time we done it we didn’t have a great deal to pay I think preferred pas was roughly $90 and seasonal was only $5 , still worth doing though ! Have a fantastic time xxx
