Need to make sure that the flight from New York to Orlando includes baggage at the same level as the Air Lingus flights both ways - if not then your price is going to spike

Spirit for example give you absolutely nothing in terms of baggage allowance - so if you want a carry on bag and a case, you need to pay for each on each leg which could add $60-70 each way to your price.

Max weight for checked bag on AL is 20kg, Spirit is 18kg - if you hit 20kg on AL then you've got overweight charges on Spirit got 2kg

It quickly becomes not a great deal.

That looks really good. The price would have to spike rather a lot before it was other than a great price.

As I travel hand baggage only, then it would be right up my street! Spirit do however charge for carry on as well as hold baggage. In my case, I would be looking towards American, United or Delta as their price with hand baggage included may come in comparable with Spirit and the service better as they operate a larger fleet, thus providing greater resilience.

Also find JetBlue are good too. In fact doing this very route next month using them!

So long as you’re planing on staying in New York a day or 2. Booking indirect flights on separate tickets is never a good idea unless you’re having a stopover.

Bear in mind that AA have decided to pull out of most NYC -MCO services due to their recent agreement with Jet Blue. You will notice that Jet Blue flights now have an AA codeshare flight number attached.

SOme Dibb members have had problems with flights being cancelled on their BA Holidays journey through NYC
