Cambrils

On the last day we decided to walk over to Cambrils. I wish we took the bus on the way over and walked back as by the time we got to Cambrils port by walking we were very tired and ready to get the bus back. We had no energy left to explore the town a little. The beaches are stunning. It's much quieter and none of the tacky touristy shops were there. If we return to the area, we may do onsite few days + week in Cambrils.

Every now and again with all the ups and downs of life- a moments come when life just feels perfect. It may be in front of the fire, main street USA at MK, a place never seen before or in my case - it usually involves having my guys, sun and sea. We were having a really lame meal in cambrils (place known for good food), tired from all the walking. The sun was shinning, the sea was so calm. I looked at my guys - and I thought I am happy. Life is good

or was it the sangria

total spend on the trip including taxis to the airport, air fare, tours, sepnds, hotels, theme park pics, tiny bit of shopping - 2350 euro for the 3 of us 1675 gbp. I feel it was exceptional value and would go again in future.

Another tip I would add is the bus plana car - for 15 euro you can get 10 tickets on it and reload 12 euro for 10. It can be used for more then one person - as return trip to Tarragona for 3 of us would be 6 tickets. It covers the area from Tarragona to Cambrils (not Barcelona)

I think this was it form this trip. I am not native English speaker and will try to do some edits to make it more readable - hope it's not too poorly written

Your report wasn't poorly written at all!

I enjoyed reading it, especially all about the different places you visited in the area. We were looking at a short break to Portaventura & Barcelona, but I wasn't sure what else there was to do, and what exactly Portaventura itself was like, and your report has really helped.

Thanks.

Enjoyed your report. A couple of years ago we did 2 nights Portaventura hotel and then 2 weeks at Cambrils park - it was my DS2 choice after his exams and we had a great time.
