Omg thats awful,my sons would have been so upset (they have asd and we had a 5 hour delay last year).Really hope you get on your way asap in the morning and no more issues,get that compensation claim in!.I know it doesn't help now,but may soften the blow a little further down the line.

BA is a disaster zone. I would never book with them now. Also I'd certainly never book a flight via Heathrow requiring a connector with them.
Haven't read the whole thread but hope everyone effected got sorted.

Wow. Unbelievable. I thought my experience a couple of weeks ago was bad but I think this tops it. Vacation time is hard earned, planned and anticipated. I feel for you and your family! Hopefully no more than a day's delay and everything goes smoothly after this.

Thanks everyone. Just woke up and heading for breakfast.gonna grab a few bits of clothes in airport then head to Walmart on arrival to get a few items of clothing etc and drive straight up to bc not what we had planned but not missing my first night there 🤞🤞🤞 will keep you all posted 😁 onwards and upwards

Hope today goes smoothly, yesterday sounded like a nightmare. We had a 24 hour delay last August with Thomas Cook so understand how it feels missing part of your holiday🙁. Enjoy your holiday and make lots of happy memories.
